I know what you mean about Anons. hitting the brick wall getting out facts but:
99% of the people (or at least a vast majority)I have spoken with are of the opinion that Scientology is a "crazy cult"
They don't know details but "Tom C. = COS" is good enough for them.
My sister who works as a care giver for the menatlly handicaped for example knew of Sci. effort in detail about drugs. Even tho she didn't know what CCHR was she ID'ed it by saying "OH you mean the Scientologists?"

Using that logic, I could just as easily say that Germany is a Fascist nation determined to wipe out the Jews and take over the planet due to what happened a long time ago, but that would be totally incorrect and outright ridiculous to conclude.
The people responsible for that were eliminated a long time ago, and last time I checked, Germany now has better treatment of people than the US and Canada.
The original group that started this has nothing to do with the critics of today.
