This is a video I made with a couple of friends of mine, Tania Gandhe and Shweta Iyer, for introduction to Green Technology, in the inauguration function of IEEE - TSEC tech fest in 2008.
The most powerful green technology will not be some sort of scientific breakthrough. It will be a public policy that reverses the economic motivation for abusing the environment for profit. That policy is taxation of community created land values that takes back to society the value that we all give to land and natural resources that in private hands is a free lunch. It also prevents land speculation, the cause of the housing bubble. It is called land value taxation. Google it.
