@guidc It's the end of the program and it's bedtime for all the young children who got special permission from their parents to stay up just to watch Ms. Hann play her violin. I thought that would have been obvious to everyone.

Simple tune, but she does it in a way no amateur would do it. She plays in the fourth grip and strikes two strings, what a non-proffessional wouldn't do so easily.
-
doesn't matter how simple the tune, its the tone
-
an inspiration to beginner violinists who feel 'silly' or 'childish' playing these simple tunes: see? even the most simple melodies can become masterpieces. it's not the notes, it's YOU.

How beautiful!

@guidc If it's the way she played it, why not? :) It was beautiful.

Hilary Hahn plays ,,Twinkle'' and a little girl 5 years old plays Paganini :D...Such a funny facts :))

as soon as you make twinkle twinkle little star sound like a legit composition, you know you've won at music

questa era la mia ninna nanna

It would've been great if she wouldn't have been sharp on the last note...
u gotta have some balls to play twinkle twinkle little star in national television.

@guidc Well, just in the figurative sense because the sight of "balls" on HH is not an image I like to hold for any amount of time! haha

@boomer4666 Even though she's all about just playing the piece, she does like to have her own imprint on the music as well from time to time.
