Ms. Eisenhower discusses her book, Breaking Free: A Memoir of Love and Revolution. She tells the story of her love affair and eventual marriage to a member of President Gorbachev's inner circle and head of the Soviet civilian space program. These events happened during the breakup of the Soviet Union and the end of Soviet Communism.

  • Interesting. Her outfit does look like Jackie's but I really don't think she sees herself as Jackie. She came of age during the Vietnam era and her grandparents, Ike and Maime epitomize the 1950s. Look at the pic of her with Ike and Maime at 2:25 and ask yourself how you would dress and carry yourself if you were her. If anything, the clothes help keep Maime's memory alive I think. She also wrote a book called Mrs. Ike: Memories and Reflections on the Life of Maime Eisenhower (1996, 2002).

  • Omg, what's with the clothes. Who does she think she is? Jacqueline Kennedy?!
