  • Must really suck to be those city council members . No property tax revenue AT ALL. $80 mil in the hole, and God knows what it costs the city for security and upkeep for that empty pharmaceutical complex.

  • @Bellcart

I didn't even realize you made both of the last comments...I didn't want to put that much effort into insulting that moron, but you said it best haha

  • @Bellcart

haha. and playing judges with to much power.

  • @zs12235 i doubt he could understand the case anyway. As a matter of fact, the conservative judges didn't know what they were doing. Take about people playing judges LOL

  • @theshaggyshow

you are an idiot. I'm not even American but i can give you lesson about your own Constitution and decisions that have been taken by your government LOL. The judges who caused this were conservatives. The imbeciles couldn't even made a difference between "public use" and "public purpose". With their silly ruling, they give the government the power to seize the citizens' homes in order to give them to corporations, something the Takings Clause of the Fifth prohibits.

  • @theshaggyshow if you dont know anything about this case, dont comment.

  • liberal judges caused this, i'll just bet

  • I remember debating about this in my real estate law class. I seemed to be one of the only people in class, aside from the teacher, who thought this was a horrible decision.

  • The worst of this is that those that most gained are the public employees in the redevelopment department. They never have anything to lose and are at all times drawing bloated salaries and pension.

  • This is why we need to be able to remove Judges from the bench, no more lifetime appointments. The people should be able to remove judges from the bench includng the SCOTUS when judges legislate from the bench or fail in thier responsibility to uphold the Constitution and the Rule of Law.
