  • Battle is absolutely stunning, and pitch perfect as always. She can move her mouth any way she wants as long as that beautiful sound comes out.

  • @shells500tutubo I have to agree with you. By whatever means necessary, any mannerism that brings out "that voice" is OK by me! Thanks so much for you comment!

  • @dangmills Many opera singers shape their mouths oddly. Although she's not an opera singer, Sarah Brightman does the same thing. I watch wondering, "how does she get an 'a' sound when her mouth is fixed to making an 'o' sound." I never knew what that was about either.

  • Two of my faviorite Christmas songs. They were performed amazingly by both artists. I especially like the arrangement of "Mary Had A Baby", which I had never heard before. And, I like those sleeves.

  • @u03tf5

I think she's trying to make her diction clearer to avoid making her voice sound less "girlish" and more "womanly"

  • What is Kathleen Battle doing with her lower lip? It looks like she's singing "Mory hod o boby". Von Stade shines.

  • An absolute beauty, at least Frederica von Stade's part... Thank you for posting!
