One of the dreamiest piano intros in the world (or anywhere else). Whenever I play it people ask me if I have the music for it. I don't think a score is readily available so I transcribed it. I recorded it in three takes into Pro Tools. The camera cuts between the takes and the sound is one of the takes. The camera is a little Sony Cybershot stills camera in video mode. This is in our new live set, segued into the also brilliant Summer Breeze, coming to a venue soon.

  • Smooth!!!

  • I got goose bumps listening to your piano! Bravo!

  • yahhhh!

  • AMAZING .. just beautiful!!

  • That was so beautiful. Makes me want to learn piano...

  • This is one my all time favorite songs by the Isley Brothers. Chis Jasper conceived one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. I must say that you play it beautifully as well.

  • Highways of My Life is one of my favorites, the intro is one of the reasons. The Lyrics are great, too.

Movin down the highways of my life

Makin sure I'm stayin to the right

Moving down the highways of my life

    So I shan't be concerned

With the other side of the road

By the way, Chris Jasper's nephew was

one of my best friends in high school :-)

  • Beautifully played, and yes ... it is one of the dreamiest piano intros of all time, I think Beethoven or Mozart would've been proud to have composed it. All the best.
