Though he's not the actor you'd expect to be a superhero, Michael Keaton proved to be the best of the Batmen. He had so much personality as Bruce, you definitely felt him as a guy uncomfortable in his own skin, more comfortable jumping rooftops than hanging w/ rich elite. And his actual Batman was great, you could understand what he said. Burton's Batman was the perfect balance between fantasy & reality. It stays true to its source material (mostly) while still managing to be a terrific film.
