You know countries may say we as Americans are the scum of the earth, but I believe that no one else can compare the history and culture that we have all come from. That is why a lot of us still have pride in this country. It's that history that makes us unique from the rest of the world.

Today, July 3rd, 2009 is the 146th anniversary of the closing day of battle at Gettysburg. At the moment I am posting this at, 3:53 PM, the Confederate assault of that day would've ended, and a calmness would've begun to settle over the battlefield. Let us never forget the men who fell on that field so many years ago.
