I'm with Rimatron, Why restrict the top speed to 136mph. It seem Yamaha have turned what seem a good bike into a fu**ing Harley. Send them all to America where the Yanks are all scared of going over 100mph!!!

well, they have said that the limiter doesn't effect the qtr mile run... so it goes 10.?? at 135-ish. there's no way it's going to take back the qtr mile crown... plus at $17990... it's no wonder they can't seel all the 2500 bikes they are going to import this year.... too much, not enough. they should have just kept the other one... better yet, put that engine in my warrior... and watch the f... out. sorry max, not this year
