A extremely indemand old school hip hop joint from Lovebug Starski & The Harlem World Crew circa 1981 on the Tay-Ster label. This is the dope ass instrumental and is pure disco funk hiphop gold, just check the horns and baseline (well they used the baseline from Teena Marie's "I need your lovin... ). He recorded this before going on to work extensively on the soundtrack to the film Rappin'. Some say he coined the term "hip hop" so lets start the debate on that one....
Also the baseline from Teena Marie's "I need your lovin" was sampled by Jadakiss on right by my side ft. Ne-Yo..

at the moment i refer to my car as the funkmobile as i only listen to hiphop from 79 to 86 ;-)
