@RideonRunnersHigh82 I know it's not Harry's fault if Lily died but I think Snape was just blaming the wrong person (like he did with Neville) and of course i imagine his hatred for Harry mostly has to do with the fact that he was his enemy's son and also the son of a man who "stole" Lily from him. (I know he didnt still her, since Lily didnt love him in the first place, im just guessing how Snape must have feel about it).

@RideonRunnersHigh82 Rickman was, but the director were not (I was just responding a comment who asked how could Snape look Harry in the eyes given his love for Lily, and I was reminding him that at the times, nobody (apart from Rickman) knew about that love, so the directors could not question if the scene was accurate to the character.

@MsAppassionata You are completly right, Harry is cleary not responsible what I meant was it's what Snape probably thinks. I believe he must feel awful being responsible for Lily's death and maybe blaming Harry for it ,is a relief for him. I mean, if Harry hadn't been born, Lily would still be alive. He is blaming the wrong personn, that is no doubt, but I think it explained -partly- why he was being so despicable towards Harry during all this time, and also the fact that he looked like James.

Rickman knew from the beginning what the deal was with his character and acted upon Rowling's lead not so much any director.
And Harry isn't so much the reason Lily died as it was ultimately Snape's fault. He hates Harry because "Harry is the living example of Lily's preference for another man", and that man is Snapes rival on top of it.
Those were Rowling's words btw.

@MsAppassionata Oh ok :)

@leseigneurdestenebre Well I'm not so sure about that. I don't recall. Are you talking about the book or the movie? I still maintain, however, that he didn't really have to yell at him. He was certainly intimidating enough without having to do that.

@silverbeam88 Only up to the part where Snape says "Clearly fame isn't everything is it Mr Potter.". The rest is a deleted scene.

@millaindie In the American 2 disk edition of the DVD this scene is included in the extra features, but you have to solve various puzzles and answer some questions in order to get to it.

@nenejuve It's really Alan Rickman's voice that you love. Had Tim Roth taken the role I doubt that you would feel that way (No offense Tim. I think you're a fine actor but...).
"clearly Hermione knows seems a pity not to ask her!" HAHA gwon Harry!
