how to draw a rose using oil pastel

ok so in this video im drawing a rose using oil pastel's hope you guys like it :) :D
i wanted to make this video cuz my other one was old and really i could do better now... :)

how do you blend oil pastels?!? Everytime i try it either smudges horribly or it lifts off the paper..

@lilgrudgeboy666 apply the first layers lightly ... and i dont use my fingers to blend them with each other i use the pastel...

The petals are supposed to be thick, because the pastels are thick too.
