Puckett's Mill Elementary School students (Dacula, Georgia.) asked parents to "cut their engines" in the school drop-off/pick-up line in an effort to protect young lungs, improve air quality and save fuel. Puckett's Mill has seen 100% participation since they began their "No-Idling Campaign," part of a national program sponsored by the Earth Day Network and The Clean Air Campaign. UPS supported this program through a $350,000 grant, $25,000 of which went directly to Georgia schools.
