Checked out the numbers and these G8s with the V6 make their torque really down low with a very broad powerband. I was surprised.

No, in america the g6 offers a 2.4 I4, 3.5 V6, 3.9 V6, and then the GTP and GXP are the only G6's that offer the 3.6 V6.

umm the g8 is a 6.0l v8 and the g6 is the v6. the number after the g is the engine, not tat hard.

Actually the g8 base comes with 3.6l V6 just like it mentions in the description, if you get the gt or gxp its a v8.The G6 base is actually a 2.4l I4, so the number doesnt actually mean the engine just what they call it.
