Paris La Defense (Part 1 of 10) - Jean Michel Jarre

Jean Michel Jarre's concert in Paris on 14th July 1990 entered the record books as having attracted the biggest ever crowd to a free rock concert. Over two million exuberant fans crammed the narrow streets of central Paris to enjoy an evening of great music and stunning visual effects.

... This concert spectacular transformed the skyscrapers and surrounding buildings of 'La Defense' into living sculptures through the magic of giant projections, spectacular lighting effects, lasers and fireworks, all synchronised with the music from the central pyramidical stage. A harmonious combination of the past and the present, the baroque and the high tech, ecology and technology, a vision of the Opera of the 21st century.

To be honest with you folks this concert Paris La Defense in Paris 1990 is still the best favourit concert I have here at home :) I have watched this concert on and on, when I want to see it again :p I have that concert on VHS, on DVD disk and even cd album, that I found on the net, for some days ago :) Waiting For Cousteau songbook have I too here at home :)

Me and my Dad, who has sadly passed away now were there. I remember I got tar stuck on my ass from the Champs Elysees, the Sun was so hot before the concert. Watching this brings back so many happy memories, great experience which i got to share with my best mate. Thanks for the upload

@Dockelektro Yes, there were speakers and large TV screens along the boulevard from La Defense down to the city center.

I hope ya can help me what Jean Michel Jarre said after he and his aides have played Oxygene 4 on this videoclip :D He said something to his visitors at 08 minutes 40-45 seconds on this videoclip :D 3 of his first words was easy :D Bonsoir á tous - Good evening all, but other he said I don't know what it means :p

How could the people watch the concert from such distant places? Were there speakers throughout the city?

Paris La Defense concert is only on VHS and Laser Disc, but I have burned this concert form my VHS tape to DVD disk because my friend have a VHS/DVD player :p That's how I have this concert on DVD disc :D
