i am not a christian. I heard about adam and eve when i was at 24, i though its some story, like Greeks used to believe.
However, i came to know that christians take it seriously. LOLOL...its even funny to date.

The answer is that it is a poorly written story, probably passed along to CHILDREN (much like the story of Santa Claus) who took it on "faith" that the adult was telling them a true story...
Basically, if you have anything close to a logical, analytical mind, reading this book will convince you it is a crappy old story written by people with a lot of time on their hands and not much knowledge.

Well said! I have had problems with that from the moment I read it! I have videos on this subject too...it's amazing the acrobatic apologetics that come from this....it all points to the problem with evil. Bravo!

A. Humans didnt have free will , until after they ate of the fruit of good and evil .
B. God is perfect , you (we) are not , therefore we will never "understand" his actions .
C. Do you think God wants robots ? No , he wants us to chose to love Him ... that was the whole point of that .This had to happen for us to have a free will. He doesnt want humans to be robots and be programed to love and worship Him blindly ....
