After visiting the Pottery I stopped by the new printing demonstration. In the mid '60's I demonstrated the same press inside the museum. One time I made 100 impressions in an hour. Old man Dan must not hear to good but he sure makes the kids happy.

  • you cant get much more excitement than that right there

  • Ya you can, the glass blowing studio is always glowing.

  • Very cool! I love to visit places like that! Any place that shows how things used to be done. :-) Our favorite local place is the Oil and Gas Museum. Lots of neat things. I'll have to try to get some photos or video the next time we go. :-)

  • Back in the '70's I worked with Mobil doing geophysical survays in Southern Michigan. I think we found gas near Battle Creek. What an adventure! Also ran elevations for Hoskings out of Mt. Pleasent in the winter, just beautiful sometimes.
