  • Do you have the whole show or know where it can be found?

  • @okonh0wp She was the first woman to win 2 Best Supporting Actress Oscars. Only 1 other has done it since-- Dianne Wiest.

  • @marlonbrando21x no, first woman to win twice

  • I came for Ustinov. Where's his footage!? Grr.

  • SHELLEY WAS A CRAZY JEWISH BITCH TYPE!!!! BUT FUNNY AND GREAT ACTOR!!!!!

  • the reporter was wrong...walter brennan had won THREE supporting actor trophies in the 30s/40s after years of working as an extra and bit player....he went 3/3 until he lost finally for his fourth nod (his most memorable performance of the 4) in SERGEANT YORK (1942). this loss was probably due to the academy's desire to award someone new

  • So you're a "dedicated fan" yet you criticize her?

  • @TheSuppActress Trust me ,Shelley was all too aware of her achievements. ..dedicated Shelley fans can see when she "telegraphs" her responses.

  • It was an easy mistake. The Oscars weren't exactly that manipulative in this time, and Shelley probably didn't keep up with them until she actually starting being nominated.

  • She is terrific in "A Patch of Blue". Her character is so venomous that you want to grab her out of the screen and pummel her. Also watch her in the 70's movie, "Next Stop, Greenwich Village". That's my favorite Winters performance.
