I do admit Mandarin Chinese is the most SPOKEN language, but not the most world wide used if you think about the internet, tv, music, movies etc and more people learn English as their second language than they do Chinese because its so widely used, so yes Chinese is the most spoken language but English is the most widely used when things like tv, music and the internet are concerned and over 1 billion people a day use the internet... and its all in english. Well u tube is anyway.

i'm saying as a primary language, mandarin chinese is the most common. seriously just look it up anywhere!! english may be a commonly learned second language but it is not the most common primary language. and obviously english is used on your tv and in your music and on your internet because you live in an english speaking country. just google this shit and you will seeeee.

Blooper not blopper

The english accent in this video is more of a socio-economic indicator than correct language usage. Having friends called Hugo and Persephone isn't really an accent.

I would be interested to know where hurdlegurl521 gets a figure of 328 million English speakers from when the population of the United States alone is now 305 million. So that means there are a mere 23 million English speakers outside the USA then?
