yes they can be picked :)

  • @duction

Actually, on this video, the person pick the lock because he have a cut-away top of the lock, so he can see the combination and he marked it down... And he pick the lock in a workbench. What would be impressive is if he had pick the Protec Lock with the same lock pick but the cylinder hidden inside the door... That's a far more difficult thing to do because you cannot see the disks orientation and unlocking position...

  • @forgetfulsex : The song is called "Soldat". Artist is called: "5'Nizza"...

I've put the mp3 on mefiafire... I'm sending you the link via Private Message!

  • Hehe exactly!

  • I saw that video, it's pointless. I don't believe that the neighbors would not be heard that tool. :))

  • I don't know about their padlocks, but I know that their cylinders can't be "picked"...

Actually, the only way to open them, is by using "brute force" and a special drilling bit...

To see a demo, search on youtube for the video named: "How to open Abloy Protec cylinder lock"...

  • So, abloy cylinders and padlocks, can't be picked?

  • You're right... Abloy is the best all-around for home/business security...

Abloy/Medeco (Medeco having been bought by Abloy) are really hard cylinders to pick or force!

Oh and by the way, a few years back then, I start doing lockpicking 101 techniques with home-made lock picks... That's how I learn the way locks were made! hehe
