glad you think so. weve got a great state here, sounds like were on the same page for how to make it better

good points.

i also hate how people in louisville think they're so damn sophisticated and better than everybody because they live in a more densely populated and wealthier area, and how they judge the rural folks of their state and think they're all just a bunch of racist hicks.
and dont think every area outside of louisville is absent of black people, dont forget hoptown, paducah, mayfield and many other places have significant populations
also, mississippi has a huge black popualtion, shitload of racists
-
it's ridiculous because they are ganging up on a much smaller minority than the rest of america does. but i guess being that there's is fewer black people, then they base their experiences on fewer experiences than say louisvillians.
-
why does that make it ridiculous? lack of exposure is a huge contribution factor to it.
but yea, kentucky and every state on down from it has racism issues. i dont buy that bullshit that because kentucky is farther north than other sotuhern states people will be less racist.
-
i agree. i don't think beshear has anything to do with the KKK, but it does exist in his hometown. but ky does have a huge problem with racism, which is ridiculous b/c in many counties, there's less than a few percent of black people.
Left out some old time movie stars who were very famous in their day... Irene Dunne and Victor Mature. And since you include Waltrip why not include Danny Sullivan who won the Indy 500? Just to name a few from Louisville, lol.

You know I think i would have left out Larry Flint the chicken molester/porno king. also that Nappy Roots bunch of rap crap. The real true famous people are those that have made it and haven't let fame turn them into whacknuts. Kentucky is a beautiful place that is being destroyed like many other places by drugs and the infiltration of gangs and immigrants. Pikeville is by far one of the most beautiful of all places in this state. There one may find peace I know i do.

@ominousmaximus Larry Flint is an important part of freedom of speech in America, and Nappy Roots rocks. It's a better song for KY than whatever song we have had before.
