0:14 The show's director shouted "CLOSE UP ON SEAGAL! NO, NEVER MIND!"

I've been watching so many John Williams videos tonight that I'm starting to feel bald!!
-
@moviemaniac14 Yeah, but that's why Frederik specified that it was Williams' first Oscar "for his own music". Jaws was technically his second Oscar, but it was his first for an original score, since Fiddler's music was all by Jerry Bock.

he already looked old.

GENIUS John Williams

@PiratesAndCowboys come o - Goldie Hawn dude!
-
@Frederik5495 Actually this wasn't his first Oscar win. His first win was for Fiddler on the Roof. Seriously, look it up.
-
0:35 he's like "I'll teach you what 'peripatetic' means, you dumb ass."

Composer John Williams conducted the orchestra during the 1976 Academy Awards, so when it was announced that he won the Oscar for Best Score, he had to run up to the podium to accept his Oscar and then run back to continue conducting the orchestra.

he is a really quiet and modest man.doesnt really say much at these things
@Oscars - any chance you could upload his win for E.T.? My favourite score of his...Thanks.
