Chinese New Year Experience at Jakarta Shopping Center

Welcoming the Chinese New Year, Jakarta Orchid Park Shopping Center is fully decorated in the Chinese manner. Here's more from our correspondent in Jakarta.

STORY:
Its the 2559th Chinese New Year and Orchid Park Shopping Center is full of Chinese new year decorations. Many Chinese attractions such as dancing, traditional music, lion dance, acrobatic performance and opera performance can be enjoyed everyday. All these performances are presented by Chinese people living in Indonesia.
Beside the attractions, visitors get to shop in the best shopping centre in Indonesia. There are Chinese foods, art, handicrafts, oriental fashion, jade jewellery and much more. There are free prizes inside red envelopes handed out by 'Big Brother' and 'Miss Chinatown Classic' inside the shopping centre.
