Not the easiest cartridge in the world to load, but it pays off with a ton of fun with a rifle not many people have the opportunity to fire.

  • if people sent you brass for this, you could make some pretty nice cash off reloading for them, but thats only if you wanna quit everything else including vids but thats not a good option :)

  • @RussianAmericanArms Nah, I'd be happy to do it if the money was right and they provide the casings.

  • You and your small bore 11x52R lol you need a 12.7x44R my friend. Awesome vid bro I'm sure the 11x52R will flaten a deer.

  • @Gungeek Got a .577-450.... :)

  • Also, if you're going to do any more "obsolete/absurdly expensive to buy factory ammo for" reloading videos, a very detailed one on 7.62x38r Nagant would be very appreciated..

  • @alecbh13 I'm not a big fan of shooting Nagant revolvers. They are a neat collectible, but nothing more. Every one I've ever owned would not hit the right side of a barn. They are only good for killing kneeling prisoners.

  • You really should place a piece 2X4 vertically right under the press down to the floor. It will really make a difference with your press.

  • @Marine052191 .45 LOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGG Colt....lol

  • @LompeKhylos Not realy 100% Dutch, the most major components are made in Belgium!

  • ERic,Great work on both of the Beaumont vids. I inherited a Beaumont-Vitali that was pretty rusty but I have it cleaned up (inside and out) and I want to shoot it. I can get the ammo for it but I am a little leary about shooting it. Do you have any tips on testing or flaws to look for?

  • is 50-70 brass too short? seems you're cutting a huuuuge chunk off of the 50-90 brass... there's a nice example of the 71/78 nearby and i've already got 50-70brass lying around...

  • What powder is 57-44? Do not think I will find that in Europe.

  • You can also use 32ga Magtech brass to form Beaumont cases .

That's the cheapest way, same method as with the 24ga Magtech for the Martini-Henry 577/450.

Thanks for making the video for this great rifle.!

  • My goodness and I thought my 7.65 Argentine is a pain to reload . Awsome video I will get this Dutch rifle if I ever came across one. Did you ever ask Lee to make collet die for it? They did 8X56R Siamese Mauser for me providing that I send them 3 fired brass and 3 bullets I intend to use and they charge $60 for special order die

  • @Iraqveteran8888 thats nice of ya
