@bartheus88 I see a guitar cabel and its plug is in the output socket of his Strat guitar. I have seen them 3 times in concert and Steve sometimes play's a piece EXACTLY as on the original recording.

@Fons1958 Look on the guitar of Steve Rothery when he starts to play bridge :) Especially look closer to the guitar socket- there is no plug :) Unfortunatelly every tv record they made is playbacked. However- it looks like Hogarth sings for real. Maybe half-playback- instruments are from the tape?
However- every live performance is excellent and there everything is pluged in :) Sounds better than records and there is more heart in it :) They perform better with the audience maybe

It is too bad that there are some who devote themselves to one camp or the other. Derek and Steve are both awesome in their own right. Live and let live and tune it all it in, or else you WILL miss out. ;)

Oh how they have developed this song since then. :) I enjoyed watching this early early performance of Splintering Heart, I hope to hear it in Chicago in June of 2012!!!!! :)

@einviertelkarohoch3 But if Fish never left, we would not have the EXCELLENT Fish solo albums, and also some of the Marillion records with Steve Hogarth have been great (Holidays in Eden, Radiation, This Strange Engine). I don't eat only one food, I don't listen to only one music.
