Chicago prosecutors have charged four teenagers in the beating death of sophomore honor roll student Derrion Albert, caught on cell phone video. The Associated Press obtained this video as is, and did not add blurring. (Oct. 1)

Train all the social workers, teachers, principals, police and which ever authority you choose! The fact is parents don't participate in their children's lives enough. Ask every parent about their child, and the reply you will get is "my child is a good child, he's not involved in anything bad." Ask the mother of one of the boys who committed the murder, i bet her reply would be "My son is a good boy, he would never do something like that." Yet, a kid is dead!

@angelvictoria6 Why not charge them for the highest felony charges and charge them as adults then put them in adult prison with the general population. This is totally insane to beat someone who worked the sweat out of their skins to make it on the honor roll. If they wanted to get on the honor roll, why do the kids work harder. I think this all is plain jealousy.
