  • This is eye opening and educational

  • What people posting here seem not to grasp is that virtually nothing that needs doing in this nation can get done without the consent and approval of the government. Even organized crime cannot exist without the consent of law enforcement. I think they have a gut-level realization of that and they fear the same fate and suffering, frustration and bewilderment that has fallen on New Orleans can easily befall them. Life is very complex and cannot be reduced to Tea Party bumper stickers.

  • fix it yourself

  • They had tv show showing that this would happen before it happen. The Levys were rated for cat 3 hurricanes. My point is why do not wait for the Gov and complain work harder move on and fix your life. Ray Nagin should have fixed those Levys

  • I think you missed the point. There is a huge percentage of this country that is protected by federal levees. Every one of those cities is vulnerable to flooding. New Orleans survived the hurricane just fine. Really, we did. It was the levee breaks that did us in.

  • Bush's response to my 97 yr.old mother displaced from New Orleans after Hurricane Karina: Drop Dead.

No housing assistance, nothing. There are people who work full time and live under the I-10. What is the problem with American citizens that you don't care? This can be you in the future. Our infrastructure is old and decaying.

This is a great video , thank you.

  • The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers FAILED New Orleans. What about Missouri and the flooding?

This can happen in many cities in the U.S.

    REBUILD NEW ORLEANS NOW

  • The federal government needs to fix what they broke. Thank you, CHAT, for continuing to hold them accountable. I hope that this chapter in the lives of those who lived through this man-made disaster can be closed soon and will become a distant memory.

  • Bryon..Not quite sure where you are coming from. You are either a 16 yo, Never had a hard time in your life or a trust fund baby. Your comment is sophomoric at best. Maybe just misplaced anger. The insurance Co. Fucked these folks, the Gov Fucked em and you insult them. Man, Whats up wit dat?

  • If you have a job you make money, so move on.

Don't except to government for fixing your life.

When you live in New Orleans you face the weather.

    So move
