I haven't shopped in a Wal-Mart since the early 90s. I was in highschool then and quickly seen how our downtown died the minute they opened the doors to that first Wal-Mart on the northside. I will always buy local.

Big corporations like Walmart want to pay less taxes just to open their giant stores in our communities. I don't see small businesses getting breaks like that!
