Hah, tell me about it. This time to be a kid and a wrestling fan was just utter amazing. That Andre, Hogan, Dibiase, Macho feud seemed to last a lifetime.

Regarding attention, if they did this today to a minority kid like this, I think you would hear an uproar reaction from somewhere or somebody.

Back than, alot of crazy stuff happened, and it was all in a Vacuum.

Could be Superstars. Here in Toronto, they would show 3 shows (Sat at 12 and 1pm, 7pm) and 1pm show on Sun. So as a kid, it all felt the same since some shows would repeat.

It was on the regular weekly Saturday afternoon (12 or 1pm) programming. Probably late 1987 or very early 1998. Pretty shocking to see this today, but back than, whatever happened in wrestling never got any sort of attention.

This was when wwf(world wrestling foundation) would come on saturday afternoon at 12 ,the new york news channel11 offered the kid the money lol this is before wwf(wrestling) had lost the rights to the other WWF (world wildlife fund)
