Allegro Molto from Mozart's K. 448 [fr. 3rd mvmt.]

In honor of this weekend's (January 27) 251st Mozart Birthday, I am including another movement from the Sonata in D for 2 Pianos (K. 448). This is the "concluding section" of the 3rd movement, "Allegro Molto" featuring my friend, Carlo Cotrone, and myself ... "The Swift-Cotrone Duo" ... performing an afternoon informal concert, part of the "First Tuesdays at Noon" concert series at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, Arlington, Virginia on November 4, 2003. Sonata for Two Pianos in D Major (K. 448) and Piano Concerto No. 23 were found to have the mozart effect. Later research also suggested that K. 448 can reduce the number of seizures in people with epilepsy

I 've noticed many of he duos put on youtube play this slower .Hear the Joseph*Rosina Lhevinne rec & u all might wanna play it faster .Its Mozartean at a real allegro spirito . It sounds labored as hell at these slow tempi. Just like many of the quartets and quintets & the divertimenti Mozart allegros should be fast. The prestos r cuttime but allegros please.
