Do you mean that the DL Rx (on the plane) is far away from the vid Tx (like out on the wing) or are you talking about keeping the radio with the DL Tx far away from the vid Rx.....or both?

Ok , finally got it working. It came down to this:  The diagrams show white and black squares for channel 1 through 8, for the receiver. The diagrams on the airborne transmitter supplied in the video are similar, but don't correspond exactly. The question I had do the black squares represent the switches (which are in fact white) or the spaces? ha ha ! But it makes a difference. Finally just kept trying combinations until I got a picture. Neither one matches the diagrams but it IS working!
