The WURLITZER SWINGIN' RHYTHM is a rare small analogue rhyhtm box with 5 rhythms. The rhythms are mixable. TEMPO and VOLUME controls.

It also has 5 drum pads (actually drum buttons). The drum sounds are: BASSDRUM, BRUSH, SNARE ROLL, BLOCK, and CYMBAL. The drums sound interesting and somewhat "dirty". I don't know exactly if it sounded cleaner as new - maybe the aging process of the components lead to its typical sound :-)

  • @spjunkie I own an Eminent organ and its rythm machine is stunning.

  • @AnalogAudio1 I know but im lookin for a good minute now and didnt see 1 yet...Sell me yours LOL

  • My Gandma's hammond organ had a rythm machine built in.

  • This machine sounds indeed a bit 'dirty', you can check out what it sounds like when new here on YT. Just search for 'Wurlitzer orbit demo sunny'

  • The best drum machine from that era I have heard was the ones fou8nd on the Viscount M (Deluxe) series organs.

  • Very smart. It seems to automatically throw in exess white noise. Cool effect, this is a better sounding machine than some counterparts of its era.

  • The sound of the snare is nice, also i loved your live finger drumming : ) funny
