Yup, the UBC sailing club has two RS800s on the way. They should be here this week. We'll be posting a video soon.

I think there are two or three at Jericho now. The UBC Sailing Club is also considering purchasing one or two for next season.

Didn't know you had any of these across the pond? You should come to the Euros in Garda next summer, should be over 70 boats. I say Euros, most of them will be english but it's all good fun!

As far as I know we're the only one - brought it across with us form the UK when we moved to Vancouver 8 years ago. That said there's a guy moving here form Holland shortly who is bringing his over as well so at least we can match race! Garda is definitely on the to do list one day - just need it to coincide with an Optimist event so that the kids can come too.

@sailskiffvancouver Yes the boat from Holland arrived this summer - now we just need to get UBC to buy one (or more!) and rebuild a skiff fleet @ Jericho following the demise of the 49ers a few years ago.
