Did you find the controls better when using the GameCube controller? I found it not very enjoyable (almost non-playable) when using the Wiimote alone sideways, or the Wiimote+Nunchuck. In 5+ games I don't think I've completed more then a mark or two.

I got it today and love it I play it with the GameCube controller. Love playing in the VFL and those comps great.

@watup6969 Ignore what the other guy told you. I flagged him for spam. Anyway, it has more stuff to compensate for no online, and it was a different developer as well, Wicked Witch instead of Blue Ant Studios. They also wanted to create an 'arcade' approach like many sports games on the Wii, so that it is more accessible. There is still plenty of depth, but it doesn't over complicate controls like AFL Live. I found kicking goals MUCH better in this game.
