The building is currently restored and occupied by Nutmeg Ballet / Conservatory for the arts. The fire was fought by Torrington Fire Department and Winsted Fire Department. i was born that year and i never heard about it before but i go to the warner a few weeks a mounth and it looks normal now but that was 12 years ago but i was like wow never seen that comen

Thats not the Warner Theatre....thats a different building. That building is now the Nutmeg conservatory of dance. The Warner theatre caught fire a few years after this in 1999 I think. And that fire only damaged the stage, the smoke however, damaged much of the auditorium, and now has been completely restored.
