Yngvarr helps Hod out at the mill and chops some more wood. Yngvarr leaves Alvor and Sigrid little money for letting him stay at their house for the last days. Yngvarr rents a room at the inn to read a book and to get a good night's sleep before heading to Whiterun at dawn with Sven.

  • I really love this video series! You might want to add the "Realistic Run Speed" mod from skyrimnexus. It slows down character run speed and speeds up walk. IMO, this makes the game feel more organic. Your walk speed is the same speed as NPCs and running no longer feels like you have rocket boots on.

  • @BuzzoBR1 I won't be adding manygameplay changing mods, but I think I'll look into that. The too slow of a walk (versus NPCs) has bothered me a bit, especially then following someone.

  • Lol, I even got this one before going to sleep late XD I have another small suggestion you might or might not consider. Enjoying the slow pace nonthwithstanding, the "walk slow" in first person looks pretty much like time is standing still. It is great for the scenic shots in the HQ visual but maybe consider using it a bit more consciously, like give us some nice shots of places you're new to in 1st, but when having stayed at a place some time, when walkin slow give us some more 3rd pers?

  • @mangaviking I'll be mostly playing in first person, because I like it better, looks and control-wise + it makes me feel more "in-character". But like I've done so far, I'll be on the look for good moments to go into third-person view as I like to see Yngvarr myself at times :)

  • AWWWWW ;A; thats so touching near 11:10 you saying good bye thanks leaving them money for the stay.. YOUR SUCH a good person in brings me to tears mostly the part where "ill come back to see you, one day" ;A;

  • On the 'immersion thing', i'm really enjoying the 'roleplaying' stylee of this series: A very refreshing change from skipping through to get to the combat :) Love the commentary as well: no 'babbling' as filler and you illustrate the thoughts of your character where appropriate - nice.

  • @TheZemalf im sorry for spoiling :( didnt mean to i just thought i would see what u would prefer for him. Anyways. I am not gonna spoil more things. BTw since i already accidentaly said it heres advice. Watch out for vampires! I find them truly annoying and has mad me forced to sava and load 3 times. Ok that was a lie only 1 time :(

  • @mangaviking Suggestion and ideas are always nice, especially roleplay related, as I might get some ideas from'em, so yours were much appreciated. And thanks a lot for the kind words, I'm happy you're liking roleplay so far :)

  • @TheZemalf yeah, speaking of that, I gave you so much of "you could" or "maybe you should" - so I should re-emphasize you're doing absolutely great. You took loads of time to get the best out of things in pretty much every aspect conceivable. And the whole roleplay part is just great. Bottom line: Take or leave whatever I mentioned, either way, looking forward to the future eps :)

  • @TheZemalf I get the immersion thing and agree, it is the slowmo thingy that irritates me slightly. I think the walkmod BuzzoBR1 suggested might be just the thing, I do remember it fondly from Witcher, it added so much there to conciously be able to influence that. btw I feel it is a failing in many games, they should give this some think ahead and implement more than 2 speed variations from the get go, problem is that "walk slow" and "be stealthy" mostly get the same animation ...

  • @mangaviking Whew, that was a long read :) Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions, I appreciate you taking the time!

    I don't want to "overthink" ahead, but take things as they come. I think I'll get the parts I know (and want to do) "out of the way" and go from there.
