Played and inspired by Patrick Bukassa (Copyright) - The Bible mentions "generational curses" in several places (Exodus 20:5; 34:7; Numbers 14:18; Deuteronomy 5:9). It sounds unfair for God to punish children for the sins of their fathers. However, this is looking at it from an earthly perspective. God knows that the effects of sin are passed down from one generation to the next. When a father has a sinful lifestyle, his children are likely to have the same sinful lifestyle as well. That is why it is not unjust for God to punish sin to the third or fourth generation -- because they are committing the same sins their ancestors did. But they are being punished for their own sins, not the sins of their ancestors. The Bible specifically tells us that God does not hold children accountable for the sins of their parents (Deuteronomy 24:16).

The world says it like this, "Like father like son." The Word says it like this, "The iniquity of the father passes on from generation to generation." Many times we translate the word "iniquity" as "sin." But it's not the sin that passes on from generation to generation. It's the curse, the penalty. A curse is a spirit that passes from generation to generation until someone finally figures out how to stop it in Jesus' name.

The curse may be canceled, but the demons may remain: Just as other demons don't automatically leave at the time of salvation... neither do the demons that you get from your ancestors automatically leave you either.Let's say that you accept Jesus at age 15. Because you were born a sinner and outside of God's covenant, you were still living under the curses handed down to you and demons can enter you through those curses. Once you've accepted Jesus, those curses are broken automatically, but often the demons that entered in before you accepted Jesus still need to be cast out. In other words, the curse is already broken, and there's no need for you to break any generational curses. But the demons who entered into you through those curses before you accepted Jesus may still need to be cast out. That's why it seems so many believers are living under generational curses, when the Bible makes it clear that we have been freed from any curses handed down from our forefathers!

Here's a sample prayer you can pray that you can use to break yourself free from spoken generational curses:

In the name of Jesus, and by the power of His blood, I now renounce, break and sever all curses that have been handed down to me from my ancestors. In the name of Jesus, I now loose myself and my future generations from any bondages passed down to me from my ancestors!

Again, if a curse has landed on you and has been broken, it still doesn't mean you are delivered from the spirits that entered in through that curse. You may still need further deliverance to have the spirits cast out that took advantage of the curses handed to you.

  • I like the information but the music and laughing scary! Creepy.,

  • @tommy4526 The Bible is the only reliable source of information about demons and the unseen world. It teaches that God’s creation has two components: visible and invisible (Col. 1:16). The unseen spiritual part of our world is like an extra dimension which we can’t detect with our physical senses. The laugh and music are to illustrate what is going on. Demons laugh at us every day more than we can imagine. Hosea 4: 6 (KJV) My people perish from a lack of knowledge. They know! God bless you!

  • i love the contents but the hideous laughters are a little bit uncomfortable to hear

  • @dorsome I am glad that you like the contents. The enemy is having a good laugh at what goes on in the lives of some of God’s Children. The laugh is to illustrate what is going on in spiritual dimension. How the demons are laughing loud. The Bible says in Hosea 4:6 (KJV): My people perish from a lack of knowledge. They are laughing loud because the secret is on breaking the generational curses and many Christians do not know that. I hope this will explain the laughs. God bless you always.
