  • @tanvir433 You'll have to have some kind of external drive, yes. Any external hard drive will work or there's the Time Capsule as well that lets all your Macs back up to one shared drive on the network. When grabbing a drive to do a Time Machine back up, make sure it's at least as big as the hard drive on your Mac... unless you are positive you'll never fill your Mac's HDD to capacity.

  • what is the minnium size of the backup disk??, i have 500gb and i used a 120gb for backup but when it gets full the TIM says that i have to get a bigger one
