Outside the Life of a SuperBike Racer
Temecula, CA (April 4, 2013). -- As the AMA Pro Superbike season progresses into the spring, we continue to follow the life of Chris Fillmore, the unique and compelling SuperBike racer. As the series continues to show a first hand look into his titillating life- on and off the track; this weeks episode takes a somber turn as it focuses on the critical events that can occur on the race track.
Following Fillmore, episode three is a heartfelt dedication to Rocco Horvath. In this episode, Chris talks about a young, spirited, positive racer who was paralyzed in a road racing crash in June of 2012, during the WERA West's event at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, CA.
Jason Pridmore and the STAR Motorcycle School, organized a track day at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway on November 2nd to benefit the 18-year-old racer. All of the proceeds from the day went to Rocco and his family. Rocco's recovery process is going very well.
