A video compiled shortly before Christmas 2009, as Chester City headed towards extinction - they were less than three months away from the very end. This video was designed to cheer up fans by recalling happier memories from the club's 125 year history.
Pleasingly, the club has since reformed and is enjoying a successful revival as Chester FC.
This video largely focuses upon the mid 1970s onwards (due to the availability of content), recalling such club legends as Graham Barrow, Harry McNally, Stuart Rimmer and many more.

hope u get back where u belong in the football lge,proud history gr8 support,now got a gr8 manager,and i watched your yth v morceambe they won 4-0 and 2 or 3 real gems in there aswell,nmbr 10 and 7 were diffrent class,the future,s definatly bright 4 chester and u deserve it u had some greedy soul destroying wankers at the helm 4 too long,good luck.

i dont supoort chester, but i always look at there results to see if they have won, apprently the owner put the club up 4 sale for 1 pound, its a shame that you will be playin conference north football next season

We will almost certainly be playing at a level lower than Conference North next season irrespective of whether Vaughan stays here or the club is reformed under the guidance of the fans.
Thanks for the many positive messages I have received about this video. I compiled it to cheer myself up and remind me of why I loved the club in the first place and am glad it has been appreciated by my fellow fans.
