The title of this video makes it sound like a murder mystery, and so it is. The victims are you and me and the wildlife and economy of the Gulf of Mexico. But the real mystery is this: Why do the giant oil companies spend billions upon billions of dollars for advanced drilling technologies, and next to nothing for the technologies needed to clean up the inevitable disasters that follow from the drilling? Until we get an answer to that question, maybe we shouldn't be drilling at all in these sensitive areas.
