  • Infraspinatus is still involved with shoulder stabilization with the arm above the head. The point of strengthening infra. is antagonistic strengthening to counter throwing motion.

  • @pyrotechnizian69 Just read that some people don't prescribe this exercise actually because there is a tendency to "cause superior migration of the humeral head and increase the possibility of impinging the bursa and supraspinatus tendon."

  • isn't the empty can dor the supraspinatus muscle ?

  • Doing this exercise with a 5kg weight, after I think 5 reps my shoulder clicks no pain or discomfort is experienced. This only occurs on the right shoulder and the weight isn't excessive.

  • hes lifting to high should be about 30 degrees
