This character just kills me and this scene is the highlight of the wonder of the combo in "Stealing Home" of Jodie Foster's performance and David Foster's score. I adore it. See this movie any way you can.

Jodie Foster is excellent in this film. The subtle sadness in her eyes near the end of this clip is a hint of the despair that will ultimately consume her character's life...A heartbreaking performance, only strengthened by David Foster's moving score.

See, that’s all I really want to do, Billy boy.
I want to leap off this pier and fly high in the air and hang out with the wind and drift with the clouds.
And at night the moon full and the sea wild, I’d meet my lover high in a cliff and we’d swoop down into the ocean and swim all the way and touch the bottom, up through the dark water and break the surface.
Then, we’d fly to Jamaica for Pina Coladas.
Yeah, I wish I could do that.
