Requested by applejax2006. This came from a Plaza Sesamo VHS that I borrowed from the library. It'd also be nice to see the full and English version of this sketch too.

  • "¿Quién quiere que le estrellen un 4 en la cara?" xD

  • @1980sVideoVault

Reading your post about "The Boy, the Girl and the Jellybeans" inspired me to see if it was up on You Tube. Unfortunatley, I could not find it! Maybe someday, somebody will upload it for us!

  • Tell me about it--back in the days when I could get Plaza Sésamo on PBS, my best friend thought the Spanish Muppet voices sounded angry _and_ drunk. ;-) Still, the new voice fits Bert's typical mood to a T.

  • Isn't there one in English?

  • I noticed that very few of these clips from Sesame Street were the live-action ones that came before the big Sesame Street Library books, and likewise, the scenes from these books were inspired by the show, including "Counting and Eating cookies", "The Boy, The Girl & The Jellybeans", and the "Banana Cream Pie #4" clip seen here. As the song goes, "If you could sneak a peak inside, oh, what wonderful things you'll find!"
  • I mean:

"Taken from "Plaza Sesamo: Cuenta con Nosotros", which is the Plaza Sesamo VHS you borrowed from your video library, jonnytbirdzback."

  • From 1969.

  • Yeah. Apparently, the Spanish Bert has strep throat. LOL

Still, I love these first season Ernie and Bert sketches and this one's worth the whole nine yards ...that is to say the whole nine stars ...if I could rate this as nine, Oh, you get the idea.

  • is it just me or does the voice over for Bert sound more angry/annoyed than usual?
