see now if he can play that LIVE on tour with Christina whatsherface...why can't we have quality musicians making studio records with these people?! Why is everything so basic and programmed, then cool and jazzed up on the road? Travesty :D

@kage1974 I know how it is. I'm in Lion Dance performance team. Practicing the same dance over and over gets repetitive, but once you're in front of a crowd, it's amazing.

@MrRivethead I guarantee Virgil,. while a badass, wishes he had the killer gigs that Brian gets. Sold out tours compared to clinics with a bunch of dudes and musicians watching. If you play for the musicians, the level of touring will be FAR less than a tour like Christina!

Simple groovy beat's nothing stand out,check out Virgil Donati;now you're talking some intense odd time signatures yet retaining a fluent rhythm.

Awesome player. Looks utterly bored though. You would be too if you played the same 25 songs every other night for 6 months straight. I've been there and that's what he looks like to me. Definitely not a cut on him but it's just funny... I know the feeling!!!
