This is the 1982 May 1st parade in Moscow's Red Square, a day of international solidary of workers. This would be Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev's final May Day parade.
@Ktaurus26 His right collarbone was broken in an accident at the Tashkent aircraft plant on 23 March. It appears that Brezhnev is barely able to waft his hand, much less to raise it above the shoulder level.
Fascinating addition. Thank you, RedSamurai84! Many interesting aspects of this video. At 13:55, the camera doesn't zero in on Romanov like in the past or with the party leaders in other republics--perhaps a sign of him being outmaneuvered by Andropov. Also, they devote more time than usual to Poland starting at 49:30, perhaps in an attempt to depict the situation as being under control after Jaruzelski declared martial law.
Госпади, как же я люблю это время. Верю, хорошее вернется. а все падонки и предатели сгинут....

Y'know, the mayday parades aren't as exciting as the Red October or Victory ones for me.

Brezhnev looks very weak, it must have been a struggle for him to be there.
