Sombrero Lighthouse Reef July 19, 2011 The power of Dion's Chicken

Snorkeling off a jet ski an hour before a squall comes through. I got beat up coming back into Marathon. Note all the fish around me. Heres how you do it. Pick up Dion's chicken from your local Dion's Quick Mart. I had a thigh. I broke up the skin and made what I call Quick Chum out of it. This left my hands greasy. I rubbed this into my swimtrunks and broke up some more chicken. Without cleaning off my hands I went in the water. The fish wouldnt leave me alone. One note to remember. Barracuda love Dion's Chicken too, so be careful. The rule is "If it's got a heartbeat, It loves Dion's Chicken" The other rule is "Quick Chum.... The only chum you would eat yourself."

it was about 30 minutes from where I lived on the gulf side. closer from boot key harbor. I tied up to one of the mooring balls out there. there's a bunch of them
