@chasehaggardisblack take a sheet of foam and tape it to a double layer solid cardboard back. Put 4 holes through both of the cardboard layers, in pairs, positioned diagonally across from each other. Then take two segments of rope and loop each through its own pair of holes, one for your elbow crook and the other to grasp with your hand.

I have watched this clip several times, and I do not get the difference between a #7 and a#8. What I see is a stab. The 7 parried on one side the 8 parried on the other. But both a stab.

Since the rest of your clips makes a lot of sense and shows your competence I asume that I am to thick to get it.
