  • My Manager and HR did nothing to my case. I am a victim of false accusations of a co-employee who happens to be a "favorite". This resulted with "me" having a bad reputation and plenty of enemies. I am still working in the same place. Have no choice because I have a family to feed. But, everyday is a constant struggle going to work. From time to time..thinking of also committing suicide. I'ts only my Faith and Family that keeps me going.

  • Please know that your life is worth so much more than a job. You are a valuable person who has much to offer this world. Please do not commit suicide. I encourage you to reach out to your doctor or other professionals regarding your situation. Let your family and friends know about your struggles and your need for support. Know that the bullying experience is temporary and that there are things you can do to change the situation and to become the person you were created to become. Blessings.

  • I wonder what percent of workplace shootings can be directly attributed to bullying at work?

  • I suspect many of them could be attributed to bullying in the workplace, however, I do not have any stats. Unfortunately, some employers will label the person as being a disgruntled employee rather than look at the real issue.

  • I think I was suceptible to bullying at work because my parents were old fashioned and abusive and I was bullied at school. I think some people have been conditioned to accept the bullying. It's hard to teach your children to be polite when you know later in life this could be a hinderance.

  • Thank you for your concern. Don't think I am going to do it. I am just depressed. Whenever I am this way - I turn to God for help and guidance. I read the Bible. This gives me strength to fight and face this kind of people. I will be okay.

  • If everyone with a conscience and the ability to feel guilt is selected against, only those that retaliate against others will be left. Think before you say they deserved what they got!! Seek out and reward people in the workplace with consciences!

  • I use 2 work in a well known boarding school in the UK. There woz zero management, my manager wud flat out refuse 2 manage the place. He woz suppose 2 do 8 hours a day but wud do on average 4-5 hours. Wen he did turn up he wud lock himself in his office and ignore wut woz going on around him. This in turn let ppl who hav bullying tendacies to thrive!!! I woz on the recieving end of all this, it has ruined my life, I hav sever depression and social anxiety and feel my life is over!!

An incredibly short sighted comment. It's not that easy....

  • "A matter of life or death" or a matter of finding another job...

  • Many of the videos on workplace bullying deal with the boss as the bully, but trust me there are different forms of bullying...a group of colleagues who band together to have their desires met and make others cow toe to them. Example: whispering about the others behind their backs and poking fun of them .. rudeness, always picking on the smallest mistake and emailing about them, laughing at them, putting them down, for what? To get that rush that they are better.. WTH can you say messed up?

  • @misdelivery Do not feel alone, I heard good things about hr at the last company, but did not trust them, where in the heck do they get their paycheck, this is common, being an honest hard worker is not enough, you are not alone.

  • I know from personal experience that the silent treatment, the harrassment, supposedly angry workers make better workers, bullshit, treat the workers good, and all of us will give our all.
